About the Case
FTI is currently serving as the Sales Agent for Semeato S.A. Industria e Comercio with the objective of satisfying the claims of labor Creditors in the Judicial Recovery proceedings linked to case number 5002932-89.2020.8.21.0008, formally approved in August 2023. This sale initiative encompasses company’s properties, collectively valued at over BRL 200 million.
In 1965, Mecânica Agrícola Rossato Ltda was established in Passo Fundo, RS, to address the scarcity of spare parts. Throughout the 1970s, the company pioneered the production of Brazil’s first agricultural implements, coinciding with the growth of the agricultural sector. However, financial difficulties arose due to operational setbacks and economic downturns. Faced with these challenges, the company pursued Judicial Recovery as the sole viable option. The Judicial Recovery Plan was sanctioned in August 2023.
